As cliche as it may sound, I can’t remember when I first fell in love with editing. Even at an early age, I was stimulated by any opportunity to help my fellow classmates with paper reviews and writing ideas.

I naturally gravitated toward Creative Writing during my college years, and the winding trail lead me here to freelancing. I enjoy the freedom I have to support writers as they are, whether that be someone with a non-traditional niche, or someone who’s just beginning and needs an extra boost of help. Or someone going all in with self pub. I get to tailor my work to their needs, and there is little work to be found that allows such freedom of creativity.

My taste in books varies to a degree that is a bit bizarre. My copy of John Green’s The Fault In Our Stars is so covered in margin scribbles and sticky notes that it’s barely readable at this point. But I also LOVE Virginia Woolf, and my beautiful tome of Robert Burns poetry perpetually rests on my nightstand.

Present editorial mood: I’m eager to work on more contemporary fiction, particularly in the upper YA or adult range. I’m also dying for an unconventional project that blends Lit Fic with poetry or some other artistic device. My enthusiasm is off the charts for projects with a thematic depth that inspires readers to consider the context of our world. OH AND summer romances. I always crave them once Spring arrives.

*Note: Not fitting the above description doesn’t in any way mean you shouldn’t inquire! I have a huge wide variety of interests!

Works I do NOT edit: Horror, western, military (simply not qualified), religious non-fiction, erotica, anime or graphic novels (please see Coral for those two, she loves them!), political pieces, stories that reinforce or praise triggering issues, and anything with an intentional ‘ism, be it sexism, racism, genderism, ableism, etc.
