Our editors price by project. We prefer to customize our pricing in this way to provide you with the care you specifically need.
Our editors arrive at their cost proposals by completing a free ten page sample of your work. They use this opportunity to learn more about you, your writing style, your needs, and the estimated time and effort your book will require.
Once a full price for the complete service is determined, you will be sent your edited pages, along with the cost proposal. This is your opportunity to think about your budget, determine whether this is the service you want, and consider the editor’s style in comparison to your expectations. We want you to feel welcome to bring forth concerns and discuss the proposal until both you and the editor are happy and eager to move forward in settling a contract.
We are careful to provide each client with a thorough contract. This is to be sure that you feel safe and protected making payment and sharing your work. Once you and your editor are satisfied with the terms and the contract is signed, you will receive your electronic invoice.
We are working families who understand the value of payment options. Therefore, we offer a few options for services over $100. You can pay in full, split 50/50 (half upfront, half upon completion), or request a payment plan. All services over $100 come with a refund policy of 75% return should you have a serious concern with the quality of your service.
